Beautiful brides ✨️

July August September |
We appreciate this season because of the past seasons. A journey of living and learning, forgiving and growing. A journey of rising, falling, and rising again. Surviving through Seasons when feeling of kicking ourselves in the gut and be isolated in our valleys was easier than showing up. But God.
God Had so much more for us. Kept bringing us out of the miry pits, moulding and creating beauty from the ashes. We owe it to God given friendships who pushed us, prayed for us without us knowing, showing up for us unwanted lol, lifting us up and carrying us forward in laughter, tea sessions or over some fine wine through heartaches, grief, galantines days, birthdays and milestones. The bliss of community. Friends turned family but always daughters of the King first.
We are living the seasons we once prayed for, joked about, and at some point for some of us, did not think was going to come in to fruition. But God. God has been so faithful.
If "dont let your past define your future" were a people, it is we. While I know we all have our stories, testament to God's faithfulness, I emphasize this for us because we've lived a bit before we could get here. A little over year ago, our lives looked completely different. And I mean COMPLETELY.
But 2023 year has just been a roller-coaster of wedding things, bridal showers and everything that comes with it. If im being honest, we're with people we never thought we would be with 5 years ago. I say 5 years ago because we were some girls who really THOUGHT we had our whole lives set out for us haha.
It's so good, and I speak for us only, it's been so good to be in this season together at our age (iykyk lol). It has been refreshing to revive the community energy after being pushed apart by life, our careers and covid these past couple of years. But God.
The older we get the more we realize why marriage really is one of God's greatest ideas.
Prayer. Trust and Community are my takeaways from this season lately. Keep it small. But keep it intentional. Because when it seems like we've exhausted all our options or plans in life, God shows up like only He can do and wow us all over again.
A couple more brides to go. (Only one really) Lol. Woot woot.
In general, all across the board, 2023 has been the year of,
"When the time is right, I the Lord will make it happen" - Isaiah 60:22
Praise be to God. 🤎
