Debbie girl turns a year  older this week! Oh my heart! These little ones are growing up soooo fast! I feel like Debbie girl is the epitome of the women that were/are a part of McFarlane family. Her coming into existence forced each of us to decide whom to rely on - God or man.After much search for answers through the hurt and shock,and judgement and opinions, we all individually came through choosing God and community (in summary)  Crazy good season.. #FunGod Her being named Deborah is prophetic to me for each for us in the different fields Gods put us in. Calling us out to be mothers, to be intercessors, to bring about comfort and healing, to love and encourage and be a voice of God/ represent Him (in pageants😉) in the way we carry ourselves, in our speecch, in our friendship with God and each other. 😳 wow Love you so much Debbie girl. Trying not to shed a tear. Gots you in a special place in my heart! always... Yacas.

Yesterday we had Bible study here and talked and shared on the importance of the influence of women in our society, in our families, in our nation (s) and the world with reference to the story of Deborah. Later in the night i watched a movie called 'No Greater Love' which was about a believer woman loving her non believer husband. It was really cool - Nothing violent. But it was just on how the woman didn't want to compromise God standards while loving her husband. The study earlier mentioned on Deborah talked alot about her uncompromising integrity as well.     So at the end of the movie I cried like a baby. Genuinely I just couldn't. I know that I miss MFG but I didn't see it as that much big of a deal...just something to laugh about or something. But last night I realized how much I deeply and wholeheartedly appreciate knowing and having a unique set of women in my life who are beautiful inside and out! Women who are just downright phenomen...

This week I had the honor of seeing a sweet sister of mine tie the knot with her man! Words aren't enough to describe how happy I am for them and how deep my love for them is on their special day. Selfless, sweet and humble Gentle, authentic and kind these are but are few words to describe you sweet friend You've been a joy, a strength and a blessing to me on my journey And my heart is nothing but full to see you tie the knot with your man I recall the good ol' days of sharing till night's end, long hours of phone calls when certain issues made us mad,  the forever walks to remember to the seawall, the dark nights of jammin at our beloved MacFarlane porch the unending tea sessions oh and always pushing me to sing and sing and sing. lol! to name a few memories flooding my mind as I aspire to write something about your new chapter.  Mr and Mrs Nakavulevu! Today we picked Ala up from town.  (So for those who don’t know me, Ala is considered a sister who is studying at Vanuatu where Tropical Cyclone Pam just hit a few days ago.)  She is all well and smiling.  It was fun to see her again even though she had just left only a month ago or so.  We did the whole dramatic Errrr-my-gaaawwssh moment, group hug and slaps. And that’s the end of my entry today.  Thanks for reading. I just wanted to share that. Lol. We look super excited right? haha JOKES!!! Okay. This didn’t dawn on me until Esita shared that seeing Ala all joyful and well  after a devastating natural disaster in Vanuatu spoke volumes to her on JOY after the storm; that whatever storm you feel you’re in right now, God is right there with you and He will definitely be right there on the other side ready to give us a group hug and the likes.  So much joy!   So for me, seeing her brought only two words to mind: SECOND CHANCE...

How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!  Psalm 133:1 How is it that I live with the coolest people ever in the coolest house ten (to fifteen) 21year old girls can ever live in, in Fiji, 5mins away from USP. Two years ago (which wasn’t really a long time ago) some of us weren’t even allowed to step out of the house at 12 midnight, let alone sleep over at a friend’s house. And daylighting was never to be discussed.  Ever. Moving out? - Impossible.  Crazy! Its like we were hand picked. Literally.
