A prayer I wrote out on Dec 18th: 

Maybe its the steadfastness of their faith that beckons us, me in to this global awakening. 

But its this church. This community has always from the start for me, been in the business of the miraculous and while the world watch on they have not backed down from this level of faith. They have only grown in/on it! Its contagious! 

For me, personally they came around for me at a season where I was questioning what all is there to this faith we profess; it was what steadied me when I was looked at differently for believing more or for trying out something other than just being a "normal" christian or in what I was experiencing then - a stagnant one.  I thought there had to be more than just the going to church and looking pretty when we gather. I wanted more.  

In so many ways this community in their worship, have offered the world and the global church a MIGHTY awakening of what Christianity can/should look like in this day and age.  That there can still be miracles, signs and wonders along with everything else we profess of on our faith and mixing that with modern technology. 

Churches have been big on gatherings which is fine but this one church professed something more than that; something specifically on unlocking another level of freedom in grace AND truth.  While some professed grace but missed truth and others truth but missed the grace part of it.  They intertwined both especially in this changing times and its is refreshing! 

I want to be a part of this miracle! Because its real.  Because I believe. Not to gain favour but because we carry this favour! I refuse to chip in the "what -abouts" or "if onlys" because there just cannot be any room for indecisiveness and doubt and fear and man-made opinions on this one. Not this time.  Not this gathering.  Not this body.  Not this community.  Not this baby.  Not this family.  In Jesus' Name! 

Amen!  

My heart just cries over the togetherness of this community for such a time as this; unified in prayer and faith and it in turn causing rippling effect over the global church! Beautiful faith. Beautiful surrender.  Beautiful Jesus, no wonder You obeyed. You knew we had it in us. You knew we could if we just hold on; if we just press on; if we just believed. We are good.  

Thank You Jesus, For entrusting us that it can be done. 🙏

For some reason, I thought I needed to be out of the woods of this process to be able to tell the story. At least a proper one where my emotions are not in the way. The danger of doing it anyway is you feeling the rawness of the rage, the hurt, the heartbreak, the bitterness.  But I want to stay alive and telling the story helps me do that. Heartbreak

Imagine a girl growing up in a safe little good Christian home. Key words: safe, good and CHRISTIAN.  I start here because when the environment in your development stages in life is safe, good and Christian, your views and ideas about life is very limited. Limited to only good things. It's not bad and I'm not ungrateful but I say limited because I had no idea how to cope when bad things happened to me because it was a foreign concept and that it was even possible to happen to me in the first place. God was my protector I was taught and I should be immune to bad things?  I look back and see trauma happened one after the other for me in my 20s and now 30s that I guess is where my safety net comes in.
