How Grateful Am I?

This past weekend the religious commemorate Christ’s death  on the cross and His resurrection. If they don’t ever go to church in a year, this weekend is the only time they ever consider going.  Its because they “know” that this past weekend is/was for them. For us.  So we go to church because we feel that it’s the least you can do? You go to church because you feel that He deserves our attention today if not on any other day? You go to church because…… its like you feel sorry for Christ for all He had to endure for you? What is this?! You ask yourself or any random Christian why they went to church this weekend or why Easter is so special to them, and their reply would be centered around being grateful for Christ’s death for all sinners. Let me ask you something. How grateful are you? Are you really?? How deep is your desire to show how grateful you are? THIS is the real deal.  Grateful enough to seek Him and DO HIS WILL? Or just sparing a few hours in church to hear a religious sermon or spending hours confessing your sins and then have time to worship? God doesn’t want our time of worship or sacrifice as if He needs it! What God wants is our hearts to obey Him.  For Obedience is better than sacrifice.

Do you really know how deep God’s thoughts for us are in sending His Son? Do we really know what Christ put to death 2000 years ago? And do you know the POWER of His resurrection? Not just intellectually but really in our hearts, DO YOU KNOW  what that power did and what it can still do???  Friends, 2000 years ago everything we see, think, feel, or “know” is powerful or harmful today in this world, was put death on that cross! Why do they still exist then we may ask? We LET it. Yes you LET it. We let the enemy tempt us to think that they’re okay to have around us or because it existed in Moses’ time, of course it should still be around now – sickness, disease, poverty, drugs, corruption, addictions on every level AND religion.

FAIL.

I realized something this past few weeks. There’s only two sides to everything right? (I bet you’re going DUH?! Or SO?) The GOOD and BAD.  RIGHTEOUS and WICKED.  No in between or gray areas. No maybe’s. No okay’s.  The in-betweens  or gray areas is one of the enemy’s reckless weapons, where our helpless human thinking comes into the picture, where we justify our wrong, where we make life decisions about us.  For example the normal Christian goes to church on Sunday to worship with other believers but when they are sick they stay home to rest. Do you know why you stay home when you’re sick? Because you know going to church doesn’t make you any better, its just the same as staying home and taking panadol or going to your private doctor.  Do you know why healing isn’t happening at that church? Because you’re not preaching about the Kingdom of God.
Didn’t Jesus heal the sick? And didn’t He say that WE, yes you and I would do greater things than He? This is what resurrection power means for us!  Seems like a new disease is discovered every year and more pills are manufactured every day to cater for all these nonsense and the hospital keeps getting a new wing.  You waste money, time and effort when all you have to have is faith in Jehovah Rapha to heal you.  It always works.  If it doesn’t… then friend im sorry to break it to you but what you have aint faith.  Faith always works. ALWAYS.  God don’t lie.  The devil does.  You should know that.
Let me ask again: Only two sides to everything right? i challenge you with what I'm challenged with after knowing this truth, If you're not doing what Jesus said we could do, then what are you doing?

Jesus’ 3years of ministry was about the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of God is about POWER.  POWER is the Holy Spirit activated through faith. Faith is hearing and obeying the Word of God.
