Favour

Some things I've been pondering on lately.

Working at the stock exchange has really put me in spaces of being aware of and interested in financial markets, opening my perspective towards the realities of how the economy functions.

It can get discouraging when all we focus on is the staggering fall in prices, indefinite losses, and possible job losses all around should this last longer than we want it to.

With the obvious losses happening all around I was asked about a year ago with regards to where I work, something along the line of, "why invest if the businesses are closing down? Would YOU risk it?"

Good question, and fair point!

My response was, yes!!! He looked at me like I'm dumb. 🙄 I know that look all too well. I wont forget it. Faith doesnt always look smart ay.

Anyhu.

I also felt the Spirit's nudge in response to his  questions,

"What if its favour?"

What if its favour?

Drop in stock prices

What if its favour?

Curfews, borders, restrictions

What if its favour ?

This virus, its vaccine

What if its favour?

Pain, deaths, hunger crisis

What if its favour?

Favour to invest while prices are low

Favour to take stock while the world slows down

Favour to rest from the rush of this world, its worries

Favour to be present with family

Favour to earn without leaving home

Favour to experience God as healer and protector

Favour to experience God in the loss

Favour to experience God in the pain

Favour to experience God in the crisis

Favour to reach out to God, for God.

Favour to recognize who is the God of the universe.

Favour to worship through uncertainty

Favour to accept relationship with Him

Favour to accept that He truly is Lord

Lord.above. ALLLL.

*As if to mark what I mean, I came across this picture below that just tugs at the heart. Not even a coup or election if you will, has made a people come together like this.

  1. Amen! If we view all these from that perspective, everything changes! God's Favor indeed!
